Managing Director — Assets & Innovation

(Salary: $200,000): GroundBreak seeks a visionary and innovative leader to serve as its Managing Director – Assets & Innovation, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. This executive will play a pivotal role in shaping the region’s financial future by stewarding asset management and capital deployment strategies that drive systemic change. This is a rare opportunity to lead systems-level financial innovation at scale. The Managing Director – Assets & Innovation will oversee the deployment of millions in capital across three professionally managed pools and build the infrastructure for sustainable, equitable economic development that can serve as a national model. This search is being led by James Sosnicky with Korn Ferry. Chief Impact Officer

 (Salary: $185,000): GroundBreak seeks a visionary leader to architect and steward transformative collaboration across the region. This role is designed for someone who sees coalition building not just as partnership management, but as the strategic foundation for systems change and the catalyst for mobilizing collective action at unprecedented scale. The Chief Impact Officer will work closely with the CEO to lead GroundBreak’s comprehensive coalition stewardship and collective impact functions, transforming complex stakeholder dynamics into sustained collaborative action toward systems change. The Chief of Staff and Operations will be responsible for designing and implementing the systems and processes that ensure GroundBreak’s Board of Directors and board committees can effectively steward a complex operating model. Director of Impact Intelligence

(Salary: $130,000): GroundBreak seeks a strategic data leader to transform how we understand and communicate the impact of transformative financial systems change. This role is designed for someone who sees data not just as numbers, but as the foundation for compelling narratives about systemic change and the evidence base for continued investment. The Director of Impact Intelligence will be responsible for building GroundBreak’s comprehensive measurement, evaluation, and learning infrastructure—coalescing data from multiple origination partners, creating compelling visualizations, and ultimately helping the Coalition answer the critical questions: Who are we serving? What tools build wealth? Are we shifting outcomes over time, and how do we know?
