How You Can Join Us

In 2024, GroundBreak is securing capital commitments from financial, corporate, philanthropic, and public partners, as well as individual investors. Together, we are working to raise $250 million in flexible capital by December.

Through GroundBreak’s financial system, every $1 in flexible capital unlocks over $3 in private market capital, allowing our region to scale solutions that remove barriers for Black and BIPOC wealth builders.

We are asking institutions and individual investors to reimagine how capital could be invested in our community to expand wealth-building opportunities and create a more equitable and prosperous region for all.

GroundBreak is seeking

Low-Cost, Patient Capital

Investments in GroundBreak’s  loan pool to unlock essential financing for aspiring homeowners and commercial developers. We are asking individuals to consider how a return of capital, instead of a return on capital can transform possibilities for our community.

Grants

Investments in GroundBreak’s grant pool to bridge critical one-time funding gaps wealth builders face when buying a home, starting a business, or developing commercial property.

Guarantee

Pledges to GroundBreak’s guarantee pool to help expand lending for entrepreneurs growing their businesses and for neighborhood commercial developments.

Together, we can create a more equitable and prosperous region for all.
